Organized by the Portuguese research institute i3S (Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde) in collaboration with CYROI, this event will bring together the project partners during a week.
The first strand will focus on advanced cellular models, covering spheroid and organoid culture, in vivo assays using the the chorioallantoic membrane (CAM), and high-throughput screening based on both 2D and 3D cellular models. The second strand will adress Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) as well as the frameworks and requirements for obtaining the HRS4R (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) label, a European certification recognising good practices in human resources management in research.
Beyond the training itself, the workshop represents an important milestone for the FOCUS-4R project. offering partners their first real opportunity to meet face to face, alongside fostering knowledge exchange, skills development and collaboration.
Following the first secondment carried out by a talent from GIP CYROI to C.RIS Pharma last June, the project is gaining momentum with this workshop, confirming the ramp-up of the training activities planned under FOCUS-4R.
The full workshop programme will be published closer to the event. The FOCUS-4R coordination team will also share updates and highlights from the workshop on LinkedIn.
